GL type grid cleaning machine is a large coarse grid equipment used to remove large suspended solids in water bodies. This device can continuously and automatically remove suspended solids in liquids. It can be widely used in urban sewage treatment, water intake of waterworks, and rainwater pumping stations.

Working principle

Under the drive of the motor reducer, the rotating traction chain rotates from bottom to top. When the rake teeth on the traction chain reach the upstream surface of the grid, they insert into the gaps of the grid to perform cleaning action, scraping off the trapped debris on the grid into the rake. When the rake teeth move to the upper part of the machine, they flip and the debris falls off into the hopper by gravity.
